Leading with Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, all of our Estate Range wines have become recognised as excellent expressions of their variety and wine style.
They all play their part in demonstrating the effect that the gravel soils, microclimate, aspect, and maritime influence of our site have on these classic varieties.
At Voyager Estate we have always maintained that great wines are made in great vineyards. In reality, however, when considering how rarely wines such as Tom Price are made, it is a combination of several factors that all come together at once, a very exceptional event indeed. It takes phenomenal vintage conditions, excellent vineyard management and careful winemaking to make a wine we deem worthy enough to be considered a Tom Price wine. On these rare occasions, when all the factors do align, we simply give the fruit the lead and act as the caretaker, thus allowing the wine to evolve from its natural origins.
Made in very small quantities, each bottle is individually numbered.
With this label we honour Thomas Moore Price, who assisted Peter Wright and Lang Hancock to establish mining operations in the harsh, inhospitable North West of WA. It is appropriate that, in recognition of his contribution to the Wright family and its long association with Hamersley Iron, Voyager Estate's finest wines should bear his name for his contribution to making Voyager Estate possible.
It takes time, patience and the right cellar space to age a wine so we've done the hard work for you. Our wine list has an extensive selection of wines that have been carefully stored in our underground cellar to ensure they have aged beautifully for your enjoyment.
