West Australian Opera and Voyager Estate have partnered to create a feast for all the senses.
Celebrating WA Opera’s 50th anniversary, Voyager Estate will present a six-course dinner with each course perfectly matched to wine and music on March 11, 2017. A collaboration like no other, wine, food and opera aria will take diners on a rich sensory journey.
Antoinette Halloran, Soprano
One of Australia’s most accomplished and best-loved sopranos, Antoinette performs regularly with all the major Australasian opera companies and symphony orchestras and appears frequently on national television and radio.
Paul O’Neill, Tenor
Paul’s recent engagements include Il Duca di Mantua (Rigoletto) at the Opera Australia, Elvino in La Sonnambula with Oper Graz, Rodolfo in La bohème in Halle, Seemann and Hirt in Tristan und Isolde with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, opera arias with the BBC Orchestra in London and concerts with The Hague Philharmonic orchestra. With the Berliner Philharmoniker he performed in Mendelssohn’s Elias and in Haydn’s Orlando Paladino.
Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Bass-Baritone
Teddy has rapidly established an international career on both the opera stage and concert platform. He has performed with the opera companies of San Francisco, Austin, Washington, Philadelphia, Dallas, Cincinnati, Houston, New York, the Hamburg Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper/Munich, Theatre du Chatelet/Paris, in Vienna, Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera.
Awards include an ARIA, two Helpmann Awards, a Limelight Award, a Green Room Award plus a MO Award (Operatic Performer of the Year).
