Laze on the Lawn This Long Weekend
While our primary focus is on the vineyard, most visitors to our Estate are awed by our lawn. Is it real? Yes, the question most often asked. And yes, you are allowed to walk on it. In fact, this March long weekend, we want to you to walk, sit, dance, eat and play on it.
Laze on the Lawn will be a relaxed sundowner event with music from 2pm on March 4 & 5. On the Saturday, DJ Erik will be putting out some chilled beats and on Sunday, local singer/songwriter Josh Fergus will be on the lawn to entertain.
We'll have wines by the glass & bottle, cheeseboards available or bring your own picnic - just please, no BYO alcohol.
And if you start to nod off with all this relaxation, challenge your friends to giant jenga, or badmington, bocce or some other lawn games - hey, we have the space if you bring the fun attitude.
In fact, it should be mandatory to enjoy this Labour Day long weekend. Australia’s great great grandparents fought hard for fair working conditions and an 8 hour work day. So let’s honour their fight by doing what they would’ve wanted us to do — relax to some chilled-out sounds.
There's no charge, just drop by between 2pm - 7pm on Saturday, 4 March and Sunday 5 March for some lawn lazing.
